If it’s value for money you are after then look no further than David Regal’s latest book ‘Approaching Magic’. David pre-sold more copies of this book than anything else he’s ever released and it is easy to see why.
At 506 pages in length this is one mighty tome. There’s everything from cards, coins, mentalism, packet magic, sleights with cards, drinks...the list just goes on. There’s definitely something for everyone here. Each and every effect is accompanied by detailed photographs making this a joy to read and understand. Also dotted throughout the book are David’s thoughts/ideas that are equally enjoyable to read.
It is difficult to single out one particular effect from the book as there are so many to choose from but ‘Impossible Envelope’ (which is a 3 question prediction for close-up or stage) has real appeal. This is one book that is sure to become a classic and should be on every magician’s bookshelf. PS
