Those of you who remember the Rubik Cube the first time around will know how frustrating it was if you didn’t know how to solve it. I know I remember! When this DVD dropped through the letterbox for review I couldn’t wait to see how to finally solve the cube.
The DVD starts off with Mark teaching the solution to the cube in 7 easy steps. Once you get to grips with all the moves you soon realise that it is actually easier to solve than you think. Each step is taught in clear and precise detail. I went from not being able to solve the cube, even by luck, to being able to complete the whole cube in under 3 minutes. In all, it took me around 4 days to get to this stage. I think that speaks for itself how good Mark’s teaching is.
Mark then goes on to explain his blindfold technique and routine. If done correctly this is a great addition to anyone’s mentalism routine. Okay, so it’s not actually magic, but to the layperson it’s still a pretty impressive mental feat that not many can do. Just don’t perform this until you can complete the cube in a reasonable time.
