Impression pads are nothing new to mentalism, so what makes Thom Bleasdale’s Tommy Pad stand out from the crowd? Having played around with this for a few hours after initially watching the accompanying DVD, I really like it. The handling is so innocent and the peek can be performed right in view of the spectators.
There have been negative comments floating around the net regarding the fact that the impression appears in reverse when peeked. It amazes me that something as trivial as this would put people off. Magic and mentalism is not meant to be something that can achieved in 5 minutes. So if this IS an issue for you take up knitting or something other than magic!!!
Rant over, the DVD supplied is informative and describes various handlings/routines using the pad and even shows how to make a new one bought from your local stationers. No more expensive refills. Hooray!! Well done Thom! PS
